The Easy Button and Success Entitlement

Nothing worth achieving is ever easy. In order to have long-lasting success in anything, you have to commit to hard work and not take any shortcuts. However, every so often, we don't want to do the work to reach our goals. Sometimes we try to skip steps and feel entitled to success.

This week on Love This B!tch, Lisa explains why it's necessary to embrace the challenges associated with becoming successful and to not look for the “easy button” when chasing your dreams. Investing and becoming comfortable with the grind is critical to reaching your goal. There is no easy way to success, it has to be earned through your work.

Highlights

  • Questioning personal beliefs that your goals should be “easy”

  • How a sense of “success entitlement” can be self sabotaging

  • Fighting through “analysis paralysis”
